And just next door some articles on this club site for Azerbaijan’s first rugby internationals played in April 2005.

http://www.itsrugby.com/

French-based site. Very good stats for international matches. Comprehensive coverage of French leagues

http://www.rugby.ro

Germany 36, Welsh Districts 16 in Brandenburg

Germany won by 20 points. I predicted Germany by 10

Germany dominated this match but failed to capitalize on the possession, especially in the first half, and turn it into points. Germany led 12-3 at halftime. Although without their foreign-based professionals, the Germans had a good win and now look towards their final World Cup qualifying games against Croatia and Belgium.

March 30 to April 13 –2-week camp in France. Initially, there were plans for matches against Spain & Morocco during this camp, though this went cold. Two games against local opposition as well as Tunisia are now organised. The camp is set to be held in the spa town of Dax, situated in the south-west department of Landes, on the River Adour not too far from the Atlantic coast. This would also be the base camp for Japan during RWC 07, so it is not a bad idea to have an early look around. Schedule for the camp is –

March 30-31 – Narita-Paris-Dax.

April 1, 2 & 3 – training.

 4 (Tues) – match v Cognac XV

6 & 7 – training.

 8 – watch Toulouse v Biarritz.

9 (Sun) – match v Tunisia.

10 – free.

11 – training.

12 & 13 – Dax-Paris-Narita.
