MATCH NOTES
This was France's first win in New Zealand since 1994.

Dupuy and Puricelli were making their test debuts for France; Ross, Evans and Latimer for New Zealand. McAlister last played for New Zealand, v France, in the 2007 Rugby World Cup semi-final.

Clerc last played for France v Wales, March 2008; Yachvili v Australia, June 2008, as did Picamoles, and Pape v England, February 2008.

Messam's try was his first for New Zealand. Dupuy's points were his first for France, on debut. Servat's try was his first for France.
